From December 14th to 16th, 2018, the 2nd Big Data Talent Training Summit Forum was successfully held in Liuzhou, Guangxi. The forum was co-sponsored by the Computer Science Professional Teaching Steering Committee of Higher Education Institutes of the Ministry of Education and the Computer Education Research Association of the National Higher Education Institutes. As a leading company in the field of big data and a co-organizer of the forum, Zhongke Sugon made a wonderful sharing of topics related to the development of big data industry and the cultivation of innovative talents.
At the meeting, more than a dozen well-known experts, scholars and industry experts from the field of big data research, teaching and development made wonderful reports around the big data theory research, technology research and development and application, college big data professionals training, big data education innovation practice and application and other hotspots. More than 270 representatives from universities, research institutes, enterprises and media attended the conference. Sugon made a keynote report on “Big Data Technology Hotspots and Industrial Applications” based on big data technology hotspots combined with educational applications, school-enterprise cooperation, efficiency improvement and innovation.
At present, the big data industry presents development trends such as innovation ecologicalization, application intellectualization, data industrialization, and computing diversification. The advancement of big data technology has brought positive changes to industry, academia, government organizations, etc. A large number of big data industry alliances, big data research institutes (or big data research centers) and large data centers in various regions have emerged and brought great vitality to the development of the entire industry.
At the same time, the entire process of data processing technology has been sought after, from data collection to computing processing, storage management, to data processing, analysis and mining, visualization, security protection, and finally to data applications. A series of advanced technologies such as flexible system architecture, converged system architecture, intelligent analysis, system management, security management, and performance optimization of software and hardware have become the significant development direction of big data technology.
With the successful application of big data technology in various industries, social governance is more intelligent and air quality improvement is more scientific. At the same time, “gridization” creates a new model of social governance, and great progress has been made in various aspects such as smart ocean big data engineering, campus wisdom management, land governance scientific decision-making, data fusion analysis, intelligent analysis of financial data, and enhancement of data value by smart applications.
In the field of talent cultivation, Sugon relies on its rich industrial practice experience, and always pays attention to intensive cooperation and collaborative education with universities. At present, a complete innovative talent training program has been formed, starting from three aspects of service, content and platform, and covering many technical fields such as big data, artificial intelligence and high-performance computing. It will also take the opportunity of the establishment of a new teaching committee, and actively implement the new concept of education development, and contribute to the reform and development of higher education and the overall improvement of the quality of personnel training.

During the conference, Sugon also had an active discussion with experts and scholars from the School of Computer Science and Technology of Fudan University, the School of Computer Science of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, the Information Engineering of Nanchang University, the TUS Digital College of Guangxi University of Science and Technology, and the Information Management Department of Taiwan University on the cultivation of talents and education innovation under the background of industry-education integration and gave suggestions on how to better implement the "industry-education integration, collaborative education, school-enterprise cooperation" model.
