Server Solution

China Southern Power Grid’s 2019 framework tender for servers and LAN equipment concluded, and Sugon officially became a server supplier for Guangxi Power Grid. Sugon I620-G30, I840-G30, I980-G30, and other next-generation platform servers were deployed at Southern Power Grid, easing operating pressure on important strategic projects such as Guangxi Power Grid’s bottom-line grid special plan and building stable, powerful data-center business support.

The bottom-line grid plan proposed by Guangxi Power Grid aims, through rational planning of plants and grid deployment, to address power-supply security and assurance under extreme external conditions, raise rapid outage-recovery capability, and, through differentiated design, minimize grid architecture so that within the 13th Five-Year Plan the bottom-line grid covers about 80% of critical users in key cities on average.

In grid design and dynamic adjustment of power transmission, Sugon servers’ excellent stability and practicality closely matched the strict hardware requirements of Guangxi Power Grid and the solution implementer, and also demonstrated the competitiveness of Sugon’s server line in an increasingly intense market and project environment.

The I840-G30 four-socket flagship, with platinum-level power supplies and a SpecPower test championship, meets high performance and high stability while satisfying Southern Grid’s high-quality requirements for low investment and low O&M cost.
