Panjin big-data integration and application service platform

Background

Once completed, the Panjin big-data integration and application service platform will provide citywide data exchange and sharing, data management and monitoring, and data-application services. It will process information among departmental front-end exchange databases and deliver stable, reliable, uninterrupted information transfer, enabling centralized and distributed management of information sharing across multiple departments. The application service platform will support one-stop query and end-to-end handling of public services such as transport, education, healthcare, social security, taxation, and government affairs. A Panjin government informatization official said: “This government big-data program will provide full-lifecycle services to enterprises and citizens across the city, covering personal affairs, legal-entity affairs, livelihood services, and government–public interaction. At the product layer, high reliability is the first criterion. Products must deliver outstanding availability and energy efficiency, and they must respond dynamically as the hosted business continues to grow.”

Sugon Solution

The strict requirements of a government equipment room test not only the actual performance and quality of infrastructure products, but also the vendor’s technical strength and R&D capability. Sugon supplied a GreenRow cabinet-pool micro-module solution, including cabinet systems, in-row air conditioners, intelligent power distribution, and other high-quality products, successfully building a high-performance equipment room that matches the city’s long-term strategy: a rational layout, advanced facilities, complete functions, security and reliability, and sustainable development. Sugon designed a contained-aisle cold pool specifically for the Panjin platform equipment room. Cooling produced by the refrigeration system is fully used by IT equipment, with almost no cooling loss. The micro-module can be factory-prefabricated, greatly shortening the construction cycle and delivering substantial savings in both energy cost and construction cost.

A cabinet-pool micro-module consists of two rows of cabinets. In-row air conditioners are evenly distributed among equipment cabinets to provide cooling. Aisle doors and ceiling panels enclose the aisle to form a contained-aisle pool. Depending on whether the contained airflow is cold or hot, customers can choose a contained cold pool or a contained hot pool. In a contained cold pool, cold air from the in-row units is enclosed in the aisle; after heat exchange with IT equipment it becomes hot air that disperses through the room, then returns through the in-row units into the cold pool. Cooling is fully used by IT equipment, with almost no loss. In a contained hot pool, hot air after heat exchange is enclosed in the aisle, while cold air from the in-row units is supplied to the whole room. This avoids mixing of cold and hot air, and part of the cooling also improves the room environment, so no additional room air conditioners are required inside the cabinets.

Customer Benefits
