The data center in Zhengzhou Normal University’s research information building hosts national key R&D programs, major special projects, and other science and talent programs. To strengthen research support and raise the university’s research level, the university set strict standards for security, stability, and energy efficiency in this new data center, and placed equally high requirements on every product used.

In the modular data-center project for the research information building, the Sugon C2000 cabinet-pool micro-module solution provided leading technology, products, and excellent service support, fully meeting construction and application needs and creating a stable, energy-efficient operating environment.

The C2000 cabinet-pool micro-module is designed for reliable, efficient, and rapid delivery. Ease of deployment, low cost, high efficiency, and intelligent management won the project team’s confidence. The solution uses a contained hot pool and integrates cabinets, power distribution, cooling, monitoring, and cabling. Two rows of cabinets, with in-row air conditioners evenly distributed among them, form a contained-aisle pool. Hot air after heat exchange with IT equipment is enclosed in the aisle, while cold air from the in-row units is supplied to the whole room. This avoids mixing of cold and hot air, and part of the cooling improves the room environment, so no additional room air conditioners are required.
