Core PhilosophylCORE CONCEPTS

We build a quality culture of “achieving for customers and pursuing excellence,” with Lean Six Sigma as the core of continuous improvement, and strengthen standards, technology, processes, tools and methods to mature the quality-management system.

Sugon's quality culture is the shared quality awareness, values, policy, goals, beliefs and code of conduct formed over years of practice, advocated by leadership and widely recognized by employees.

The company follows core quality-management principles and ISO 9001, focusing on customers, leadership, full participation, a process approach, improvement, evidence-based decisions and relationship management. It runs a performance-excellence model with eleven core concepts:

  • Quality Policy

We continuously improve quality in every part of our operations, providing customers with excellently designed, meticulously manufactured and rigorously tested products, and service that exceeds expectations, ensuring safety and reliability in use, and fulfilling all of our commitments. Through continuous improvement, ongoing innovation and persistent pursuit, we keep product and service quality at the forefront of China's computer industry, making quality the pride of everyone at Sugon.

  • Quality Outlook

We have many achievements to be proud of, but we have never been proud merely of being able to provide customers with high-quality products—we are always uneasy about quality. Quality is the foundation of all our work; without it, every result is a loss. Raising quality is not only the quality department's task; it is every Sugon employee's responsibility. We must break customers' expectations for high-quality products and services down into every step of our work. At the same time, we must build an enterprise operating system centered on quality control, so that quality management runs through every aspect of operations.

Continuous Improvement in Quality Management

The Lean Six Sigma program at Sugon combines the methods and tools of Lean, Six Sigma and Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) into a methodology for continuous process improvement and innovation.

It focuses on improving speed (or cycle time) and eliminating waste. Traditionally, Six Sigma focuses on quality, while DFSS focuses on process and product innovation. Sugon's Lean Six Sigma culture is customer-driven. Using strategic methods and systematic tools, and through rigorous, systematic, data-based solutions, it eliminates defects across all processes—from R&D to trial production, from production to sales, and from products to services—to achieve continuous improvement and innovation that maximize customer satisfaction and company profit.
