Sugon’s cloud-migration solution supports efficient long-distance migration: before mirroring data from the production source server to the new server, it is highly compressed then sent; during mirroring, byte-level changes to the server, OS, applications, and data are continuously captured and cached, then sent after mirroring completes, so even a low-bandwidth WAN between servers has no impact, whether the new server is local or anywhere in the world. Configuration is simple and flexible; deployment and installation need no reboot; various applications can be migrated smoothly, transparent to users; byte-level changes to server, OS, applications, and data are captured automatically and continuously; data changes are replicated in real time to physical or virtual platforms anywhere with very little bandwidth and resource usage. It supports migration between physical machines and VMs, such as P2V (physical to virtual), V2V (virtual to virtual), V2P (virtual to physical), and P2P (physical to physical). A unified web interface can manage and monitor the entire migration process, with every link clear at a glance. Push installation of the new-server module and one-click cutover to the new server both simplify migration complexity.
