Sugon C2000 cabinet-pool micro-module cooling for medium- and low-density halls (GreenDC).

Controllers, power supplies, fans, batteries, and host interface cards use modular redundancy, with hot-swap and online replacement of individual components.

Sugon C2000 cabinet-pool-level micro-modules consist of two cabinet rows, with in-row CRAC evenly distributed among equipment cabinets for cooling; inter-cabinet aisles are enclosed with aisle doors and ceiling panels, forming an enclosed aisle pool. By whether the enclosed aisle holds cold or hot airflow, closed cold-pool and closed hot-pool options are provided. In a closed cold-pool system, cold airflow from in-row CRAC is enclosed in the aisle, becomes hot after exchanging with IT equipment and disperses through the room, then returns to the cold pool after cooling by in-row CRAC; cooling produced by the cooling system is fully used by IT equipment with almost no cooling loss. A closed hot-pool system encloses hot airflow after exchange with IT equipment in the aisle, while cold airflow from in-row CRAC is output to the whole room; this not only avoids mixing of hot and cold airflow but also uses part of the CRAC cooling to improve the room environment, so no environmental CRAC is needed in the room.
The micro-module construction model greatly reduces on-site computer-room work, shortens the construction cycle, and, if issues arise, avoids buck-passing among multiple builders.
Precise airflow management avoids cooling loss, raises CRAC return-air temperature, effectively lowers air-conditioning energy, and lowers data-center PUE.
Flexible expansion means the computer room can be deployed to actual need at first and expanded in phases, unlike traditional rooms that must install large capacity at once, lowering initial investment.
