Sugon’s overall hyper-converged solution uses a microservice architecture to unify server resources. Built-in microservices for virtualization, scheduling, monitoring/alerting, and intelligent self-healing provide upper-layer virtual resources such as cloud hosts, cloud storage, routers, firewalls, and load balancers to meet enterprise application resource needs. Users can create resources and install applications manually as in traditional architectures, or largely automate creation through an application center and orchestration as on a cloud platform. Administrators can handle all resource scheduling and configuration, or fully use multi-level permissions to enjoy self-service efficiency. The integrated monitoring platform monitors VM resource usage and load and deeply controls hardware status. A light-O&M concept, with a built-in self-healing engine and maintenance assistant, fully self-heals basic issues, provides optimized maintenance suggestions for common faults, and auto-configures after repair of serious hardware faults. A graphical management interface provides online expansion: expansion nodes are added with one click, and intelligent data-balance policies keep the system efficient. Microservice software functions can be upgraded via rolling upgrade or extended by adding microservice components. Fully meets enterprise users’ needs for continuous use
